Apply for a meter
For existing customers who are a low water user you may benefit from switching to a water meter as having a water meter means you have more control over your bills - as you only pay for what you use.
Many of our customers find that their bills are cheaper after switching to a water meter, as their new bills depend on the amount of water used, instead of a rate-based tariff.
|We can then arrange to carry out a survey to confirm that your property can be metered and where the meter will be situated|
Information you'll need when requesting a water meter:
- Your ten-digit customer reference number (printed at the top of your bill )
- Your full name, contact telephone number and the address of the property concerned
We will install the meter fittings and meter for £150 (plus VAT) but if we have previously fitted a meter box to the service pipe, the charge will £17 (plus VAT) and all our work is carried out by an Approved contractor.
