South West Water launches new Source for Business Service
South West Water already delivers industry-leading water and waste water services to over 70,000 business customers across all sectors in the South West and is now gearing up to launch Source for Business at the Business South West event at Westpoint, Exeter, on 13 and 14 October.
Help is at hand for the region's business community with the launch of a new range of tailored water, sewerage and environmental services from South West Water.
The new venture offers businesses the opportunity to make savings through water efficiency advice, trade effluent management and laboratory services, as well as a range of online billing and account services tailored to suit individual business needs. Many of these services will also be available to customers outside of the South West Water region.
The new venture is headed by South West Water's Head of Business Development David Roberts. He said: "We support more than 5,000 jobs in our region and invest £140m a year with thousands of suppliers. We also have a strong track record when it comes to working with our business customers to reduce their water usage and their costs.
"We are launching the Source for Business brand to demonstrate our commitment to helping businesses across all sectors. Through the Source for Business team, South West Water will now deliver extra value to more customers through an expanded range of business-to-business services."
Source for Business will also offer advice and project management for new treatment installations and infrastructure improvements.

"We have a good business working relationship with the business team and when we need help, we always receive a prompt and efficient service with a personal touch."
Mark Rundle, Operational Systems and Admin Services Manager, IMERYS
"I log onto Business Accounts Online at least once a week to review our water use profiles and find the information is invaluable for detecting leaks and unusual consumption. I also use the text message service which gives me up-to-the minute warnings of excessive usage. Previously, it could take months before we detected major leaks. The logger facility and website has undoubtedly assisted in saving us many thousands of pounds."

"The water efficiency surveys have been fundamental to reducing our water consumption across all of our sites, making a real impact on our water charges.
