Source for Business delivers cost-saving initiatives for top holiday parkReducing the amount of water your business uses can make significant improvements to your bottom line, as John Fowler Holidays recently found out. The leading holiday park company called in Source for Business, which offers a range of tailored water, sewerage and environmental services from South West Water, to carry out water efficiency reviews at its 14 sites across the south west. The Source for Business team investigated the reasons for the unexpectedly high water consumption at St Ives Holiday park in Cornwall and discovered leakage on the site's pipework. Work is now under way to repair and replace sections of the damaged pipes - with a target of reducing annual water costs by 32%. The team has also recommended installing 21 water efficiency devices in the toilets at eight of the parks, which will reduce the company's water consumption and costs still further. Mark Randle, Group Health and Safety Manager for John Fowler Holidays, said: "The water efficiency reviews have been fundamental to reducing our water consumption across all of our sites, making a real impact on our water charges. "The support and guidance from the Source for Business team is always professional and efficient and we will continue to work closely with the team to make further water-saving improvements in the future." South West Water's Head of Business Development, David Roberts, said: "It was fantastic to be able to make such a big difference for John Fowler Holidays through our water efficiency review. "The Source for Business team is committed to helping business across the region and the country save money and improve performance - this is an example of just one of the many business-to-business services we offer." -Ends- Notes for editors:
