Leak Detection & Repair
Undetected water leaks on pipework can end up costing your business thousands of pounds.
When water pipes are old and in poor condition leakage can cause problems such as flooding, loss of water pressure and costly waste from the distribution system. The responsibility for repairing the leak rests with the property owner.
"In the years past, the site would only become aware of the biggest leaks. Since we have implemented sub-metering across the site and purchased the leakage correlator and ground mic... ...we are now chasing leaks of 2m3/hour!" Chris Piper, Energy & Utilities Manager

How to spot leaks?
There are a number of things you can check to see if you have a leak:
- If you have an unexplained rise in your water consumption or bills
- If you have a meter, turn off the water at the internal stop tap, ensuring every tap and valve is off. Check the meter – if the dials are turning/spinning you may have a leak
- Install water consumption loggers
